In some ways this book was really informational in the sense that it really clearly delineates how networks allow for communication and organization theories to collide. That said, by someone who was in one discipline or the other without the assumptions of network like structures in the world, they would be entirely lost. My review of this book considers the fact that lots of the nuances of this book are clear if one already understands what social networks are and how they work. However, it seems obvious to me that this book requires serious prerequisite. One should read a social networks or an overview of ANT before they attempt this. Otherwise, they will see this book as overly simplistic to the point that it is ignorant of ideas like "Power" or "Economics". This is not true of this book. It is actually really insightful for someone who understands that communication and organization are arguing very similar things with different words.

Worst. Book. Ever. Every chapter was excruciating.
