Review # 1 was written on 2017-11-19 00:00:00 Devra Leonard An interesting rhyming piece that allows Neo not only to identify each letter and a word associated with it, but also presents him with an interesting cross-section of words to tackle. The story was without real plot, but it did help Neo list off all the eventual invitees to a birthday party. Using the rhymes, he could, at times, guess some words on the opposite page, which kept the flow up and the stumbling down. Neo liked all the characters he met and did wonder why the little boy’s birthday cake differed so much from his last weekend.
