Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-04 00:00:00 Ray Smith It seems that many of the negative reactions to this book come from one scene -- but it is a rich and textured scene, necessary to the book! And the rest of the book tells a fascinating story about commitment to place and what place demands of us. I continue to think it is a brilliant book.
