Review # 1 was written on 2020-09-11 00:00:00 Wayne Troy Not a bad book, just in need of a new edition. A lot of this info was probably great when the book was first written but feels dated now. The resource list in the back is enormous, but some of the places mentioned no longer exist. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-08-20 00:00:00 Thomas Bach A good introduction to building multi-cultural families through adoption, but lots of it is just common sense. Also, some of the reflections could have benefited from a more nuanced perspective. It seems to assume that 'multi-cultural' will be understood through the lens of a white reader. |
