Review # 1 was written on 2018-07-04 00:00:00 Bob Blum Interesting book, but I am disappointed (as a Florida resident) that the author chose to ignore the science fictional apocalypse unfolding here (burmese pythons, nile monitor lizards, parrots, monkeys, all manner of vicious insects, etc). Last time I went fishing, I caught a snakehead and an Oscar. Based on this book, despite the heroic efforts of a handful of scientists, the invading critters are winning hands down.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-07-01 00:00:00 David Ricciuti I finally finished this one and while it was really good, I couldn't help wondering how much things had changed since it was written. I was also curious what effect climate change would have on these invasive species.
