Review # 1 was written on 2018-11-26 00:00:00 Steve Wynne knowledge of books 1&2 is probably needed to fully understand the action of kings. huge fan of these translations, however, get into the reinforcing of the youth of figures like achilles and diomedes. chris logue imo is a gold standard, alongside anne carson, for modernised translations.
