Review # 1 was written on 2021-09-08 00:00:00 Cameron Johnson I really like this book. It's a Harlequin Romance, and I am embarrassed to admit that I read it. The ending was UTTERLY predictable, but getting to it was the fun. There wasn't anything new or particularly thought-provoking, and it wasn't deeply explored like the memory Keeper's Daughter or Losing Charlotte. It was a pleasant easy read with "heart-warming" bits. I finished it last night during a long bout of insomnia when I was too tired to read anything more stretching, and it was perfect for that. To tell you the truth, I'm a sucker for a good romance with a happy ending and it has kids and animals. A KID--Tim, a sweet heart-warming boy--maybe a little too sweet. Anyway, I liked it.
