Luke and Abby have been happily married for a few years, but now she suspects he's cheating on her because he lied about where he was staying during his last business trip. Confronted with his lying, he can't give her a proper explanation for it, so what's she supposed to do? She files for divorce, of course. The truth is, Luke is a spy working for the government but he obviously can't tell her that. So he has to find a way to make amends with his wife without revealing his "big secret", which is not an easy thing to do when all he can say is, "Trust me blindly, Abby." Well, Luke and Abby were nice characters, but I didn't "connect" with them. I also thought she filed for divorce a bit too fast: she asked her lawyer to get the divorce papers ready to be filed even before confronting Luke to see if he had an explanation for his lying to her, and that was just "wrong". I mean, give the man the benefit of the doubt - after all, he's your husband, you love him and, up until now, you've never doubted he loved you back, right? The ending was kind of meh considering all the "drama" Abby had been making, but it was nice to see how the happy couple managed to work things out in the end. All in all, this was an entertaining but not memorable read.

Piuttosto prevedibile.
