Review # 1 was written on 2012-02-23 00:00:00 Claire Juranic When Jake had a one night steamy affair with Larissa, he didn't want it to be over. Larissa knew it had to be, because not only did she love Jake, she was horrible afraid and pregnant by him. When a scummy reported contacts Larissa and threatens to come out to the public about Jake being Peter's father, Larissa is forced to take action. Jake's uncle Abe is running for a Senator seat, so this scandal could effectively wipe him out of the running unless Larissa tells Jake about Peter. So she puts Peter in the car and drives to Jake's place to tell him about the three year old son, who he has never met. Jake never wanted the commitment of having a child but as soon as he sees Peter and Larissa's bond together, he suddenly does. Now he will do anything to protect the woman and son that he loves. Larissa wasn't surprised that Jake seemed to handle things so effortlessly, she was really surprised at the fact that Jake and her just had a quickie Vegas wedding though! I found this book admirable but nothing hugely special about it. I think they went to some serious extremes though and kind of felt sorry for Larissa but I still feel as if she and Jake brought it upon themselves.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-04-15 00:00:00 John Justice I wish I could say that the book was very good. I always love good books. But this one was predictacle and plain. The story was nice but it was a scheme that I've read too many times by now so, I was kind of waiting for the end to come...
