Review # 1 was written on 2009-02-03 00:00:00 Dennis Blandina Trust a 18-year-old girl to enter into a marriage of convenience just because shes been expelled from high school and is afraid of facing her parents - which, BTW, had been nothing but supportive through all her previous antics! Ive read a lot of "marriage of convenience" books - some with good/believable motives behind it and some with silly/stupid ones - but I dont remember having read one so unbelievable as this one. BTW, the heroine does redeem herself and acts in a more mature way later in the book, but that beginning was less than exciting and I had a hard time trying to forget it while I was reading the rest of the story. The good thing is, the book cover does justice to the hero and the heroine. They are really young (hes 25 and shes 18) in the story, and the models on the cover look the part. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-03-03 00:00:00 Bryan Wayne The threat of losing his children to their grandmother, made Billy Stonecreek desperate. Marrying Cherry Whitelaw seemed like a solution to both their troubles. It was only supposed to be a temporary situation, but fighting the obstacles in their way only made them yearn for forever. Another heart warming lovestory from Ms. Johnston! |
