Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-12 00:00:00 HANITRA RADILIMANANTSOA In a fit of drunkeness and loneliness, Abel agreed to his happily married friend's suggestion to advertise for a mail-order bride! But when Mackenzie actually responded, he sent her a letter cancelling the arrangement. However, even though she received his letter, Mackenzie was desperate to leave LA with her young brother because he has been tagged by a rival street gang with a kill order. So she dragged her brother with her to Abel's cabin in North Minnesota and arrived in the middle of a fierce snowstorm. With no option, Abel let them stay and then when his meddling friends arrived, he was convinced to marry Mackenzie, even though he had no expectation of falling in love. I liked this better than the first, both H/H had a bit more depth.
