Review # 2 was written on 2017-05-16 00:00:00 Marck Binette Kinda liked this one. The couple is married but h leaves the H since evil OW spread gossip and innuendo that she and hubby were having an affair. OW is a close family friend so they see her at a lot of events. The h, separates from H and goes back to Australia. It takes the H 4 months to follow and try to win her back, because just a few days after she left, his father dies, so he has to attend to business matters for the family. Additionally, the OW was dying of a brain tumor and asks for his presence at her bedside. Being a friend of the family he feels obligated to do this for her, despite her spreading untrue rumors that caused his beloved wife to leave. Go figure!! He should have just left her to her fate! Now he is in Australia to win back his "disobedient bride". I didn't find her disobedient at all! But whatever, he hires the law firm where she works so she will be forced to work with him. He also contrives to move into her flat, so they live together. Eventually they have sex, she figures out she still cares for him and anyway OW is dead and can't sow more of her evil poison. They go to a few society charity events to establish they are together. She thinks the H figures in a plane crash and this convinces her that she can't live without him. The H goes around property hunting and buys her a beautiful new house, so she's happy for their reconciliation and, best of all, he will move his business to Australia for her. They will just visit family in the US whenever they want since he is a billionaire. What a HEA.
