[ Heroine says she's not in love with the hero - hero over hears that part and tells her that he will never marry her, etc . . Finally, some angst! Heroine is devastated for 24 hours and then decides to take a pregnancy test. Hero's cousin call her to tell her that hero does love her, but will never admit it. It's up to the heroine to make the first move. Heroine does make the move, she tells the hero she loves him and then asks him to marry her. Hero says yes and confesses that he messed up 7 years ago because of pride and was going to mess up again because of pride. HEA (hide spoiler)]

I like Cathy Williams's novels. They tangled you in the feelings of the main characters and you can't stop reading the book. This happened to me yesterday when I read Laura and Gabriel's story. The author use both point of view and this help to be related to the feelings of both of them. When I read about an argentine millionaire I was reluctant to read it because I'm argentine and it doesn't exist something like an argentine millionaire. But then I read it and discovered that he made his fortune in London so it made the plot more real to me. Gabriel was an stables boy who fall in love with Laura, the daughter of the stables's owner. They have a secret rendezvous but when he proposed to her, she was only nineteen and she didn't want to fight with her parents who didn't approve her relationship with Gabriel. Feeling humiliated, he left. After seven years, he was a successful business man and she was ruined because of her father's gambling debt. When he resd about it in the papers, he decided revenge his past humiliation and bought her stables and her home, making Laura his employee. But, obviously, love interfered and he couldn't make her suffer because he still loved her. The question is: could she love him back? Although it was the typical Harlequin romance, I enjoy it.
