Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-27 00:00:00 Gary Gunkel [ that Zito get�s Roxane pregnant on purpose. I know that�s wrong in real life, but some reason, I like this theme a lot. Probably because it shows a hero�s desperation to keep the heroine with him by any means. I love a hero that is desperate for the heroine. I like that although Roxane was mad at first, she acknowledged that she also had a responsibility in preventing a pregnancy if she didn�t want to be pregnant, and she was able to see why Zito did it. And the pregnancy had a way of uniting this couple, forcing them to work out their issues. It helped them to see how much they had in common and how much they needed each other in their lives. I would imagine in real life, that doesn�t necessarily keep a marriage together, but it worked in this story. (hide spoiler)]

Review # 2 was written on 2018-07-03 00:00:00 Paul Sasso The three stars are *all* for the hero. He was a great guy who loved the heroine through a one year separation, a twisted ankle, a surprise pregnancy and all of her inarticulate moods. The biggest problem I had with this second chance story is just how inarticulate the heroine was. Yes, that's realistic, but it's boring to read over and over again how smothered and useless the heroine felt when first married to the wealthy hero. The surprise pregnancy did save the day - but in real life I don't think it always works out that way. Heroine was immature and full of resentments. Babies are even more smothering than husbands (at least at the beginning). So while the author brings up a real problem in a young marriage, her solution - time, finally listening, a baby, a hero who won't quit - just wasn't that compelling. No OWs or OMs. Both were celibate during their separation.
