I absolutely hate when heroes call heroines prostitutes at height of rage and then heroines forgive them because "they were angry and didn't mean it and it was the first time they were angry with them". Umm...no. Please stop. Just no. Let me spell it out. It. Is. Abuse. Domestic violence is not only physical abuse, it's verbal slurs like this as well. And being called a prostitute by a loved one for an act of love performed with them, it's not something you ever recover from. However, two stars, for the ending. It has to be one of the most logical grovelling I have read. Hero sat down and explained every action point by point and told the heroine why exactly he was hurt and what he'd like to do from this point forward. He also understood his shortcoming and acknowledged the fact that he wanted the heroine to love him yet he hasn't offered anything back to the heroine, and that was his fault. He was also insecured thinking heroine was only sexually attracted to him. It was good to see the vulnerability. I also liked the inner battle of the heroine. She was torn between loyalty to two people she loved, but she didn't chose hero as she needed something in return. If hero loved her, she was ready to sacrifice everything, but as there was no indication, she would not break her promise.
