[Personally, I didn't hold it against the H for cavorting around with his mistress while lightly contemplating marriage with a suitable chit. He comes upon the h's sister and the h a few times and thinking them a one and the same person, considers her an option. But as it's still a whimsical thought and he's loath to give up an even more suitable mistress, he follows her to France. And so almost a year passes before things come to a head. The flight to France and the H's choosing of his bride, both are a direct result of the ow's machinations - that succeed initially and then fail. Only thing I didn't like is the h swapping place with her twin/H's intended bride. I'm not against bride swapping per se but taking your twin's place in a cold moc setting is one thing and single-handedly plotting to marry a guy without telling him that you are blind is quite another. And still believe yourself a honest person? A very convoluted logic. You see, if I dont tell him it will be because I am scared. Even if it is all a bit irregular I dont want to start by not trusting him enough to tell him myself. (hide spoiler)]

[ cure Penny's blindness. Although it was kinda cool to visualise her waking up and seeing who appears to be a stranger, because she'd never seen Peter's face before. (hide spoiler)]
