Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-11 00:00:00 Robert Passloff [didn't want to sleep with him, so she concocted a plan to drug him. After the drug took effect, she cut her finger to put blood on the sheets, ripped her clothing, and rubbed the wine on her skin to look like bruises. When he woke up, she told him that he hurt her and showed him the "bruises." He was aghast. Since he couldn't remember any of this (since it didn't happen), he went around for several days believing he'd beaten her, when he had never hit a woman before. (hide spoiler)]

Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-09 00:00:00 Shawn Van Wallendael I really enjoy seeing two headstrong people battling out in a fight for love. Mina is so tenacious and likable. I really enjoyed reading this book again. It's a definite must for anyone who loves historical romance.
