Now Aline could avoid the sneers and amusement her failed wedding plans would evoke. But instead of the warm welcome of an elderly lady, she was met by Glenn Jennings who, revealing his grandmother's death, made it clear Aline was most unwelcome. As far as he was concerned she was out for all she could get. So why did he make provisions for her to stay?

Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-21 00:00:00 Tedral Hill I'm just sputtering after this one. What did I just read? Who behaves like this? He accused her of everything, never believed her, never apologized, and I don't even quite understand how they reconciled. I think I need to get Botox now because I furrowed my brow so hard during this book. Also, rubbernecking not recommended despite jaw-droppingly inexplicable behavior.
