WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ROMANCE BOOKS ABOUT PREGNANCY AND LITTLE KIDS? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? AND THE SLOGAN OF THIS BOOK? SPECIAL DELIVERIES STRAIGHT TO THE HEART? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Okay, time to take a deep breath and set into this horrible story. Meet Natalie. A woman who lied on her entire resume (but don't worry guys it was totally justified. See, she wanted money), and a self proclaimed hoarder of rabbit figurines. Yeah You can't make this up. Patrick, meanwhile, loves cruising by his underlings' houses in his car, trying to look through the windows. It gets better when he experiences certain "jolts of arousal." The best thing I can say about this character is he doesn't have a creepy relationship with his sister which from the other Harlequins I've read, seems to be a thing now. These two basically ogle each other the whole book, whose plot is elongated through misunderstandings. Like when Natalie thought Patrick was going to fire her so she um Fired herself? What? Or when Patrick didn't know he was the father FOR HALF OF THE DAMN BOOK. Meanwhile Natalie didn't bother to correct him. This is not an ok, healthy relationship. At all. And why are there so many pregnant women in this book? I get that they're in a fertility clinic but come on. Isn't one pregnant friend enough? And cut it out with all the not-so-subtle father figure imagery. We get it. Patrick's good with kids. Stop having him interact with kids all the time. You can't go immediately from a sex scene to Patrick playing with his nephews. Just stop. But all in all, I'd like to thank this book. I learned a valuable lesson. Evil pediatricians do not make good antagonists. He could have been an evil oncologist, or an endocrinologist. Come on, those guys are hard core.

I really enjoyed this book. Natalie is Patrick's secretary. Patrick is a doctor, but is working in administration. He sister died when she was just a baby. Patrick's father worked hard, investing his time, and money to open Doctor's circle. He wanted to give medical care to children, and give them a chance to live. Now It's Patrick that is fund raising for the very same place, and working there. After a very good fundraiser, Natalie, and Patrick celebrated drinking just a little too much Rum punch. The two heated up the night. The next day, they knew it was a mistake. A mistake that the two really enjoyed. Monday it went back to being strictly professional. She tried to call him Dr, but he drew the line, and said she had to call him by his first name. The two tried to forget about the night. How can they, when it was the best night of their life's? Natalie knew she could never forget even if she was not pregnant with Patrick's child. Now how will she ever tell him? Before she has the chance, her ex husband showed up t he office while Natalie was out of the office. He told Patrick that he, and Natalie was getting back together. So after he found out she was pregnant, he believed the ex was the father to be. How will Natalie un weave this web she has weaved? Her family was very interesting too, making the book even better. Natalie grew up poor. The police chief in town does not like Natalie, or her family and always has something negative to say. You'll have to read to see how it all worked out.
