Review # 1 was written on 2007-05-09 00:00:00 Kirk Smith A very quick read but amusing. It is about a vet in a small town who wins a million dollar lottery. All the single woman in town are coming after him. So he tells them that he is engaged to his vet partner- Melinda. He has never really noticed her before as a woman. Now they are thrown together romantically, he is taking notice.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-05-05 00:00:00 Donald Mitchell This book was okay. I liked the characters but there really was no story; most of the �action� took place in the main characters� heads. Again, an instance where things could have been resolved sooner if only the characters had talked honestly with each other. Also, the writer�s use of the word �contentious� and variants thereof began to get on my nerves.
