Review # 1 was written on 2018-10-28 00:00:00 Rog For I love the Shotgun Ridge series. Although this is not the last book in the series, it was the last one I had left to read and I am very tempted to start re-reading from the beginning. When Emily appeared on Cheyenne's doorstep, I'm sure neither knew what a complete change their lives were about to take. Emily is a strong, independent woman in her own right, not realizing she possesses a nurturing quality. Cheyenne is a strong man who cares for and takes care of everyone in Shotgun Ridge. They both have past issues they work through as the grow closer to each other. I love the small town feel, the friendship, camaraderie, the love, sense of family, and loyalty in this book. Don't think it is not full of sweet, kind, and even sexy romantic gestures, all leading up to another HEA. I voluntarily read and reviewed the a copy of this book received from the author.

Emily shows up in town ready to deliver the twins she is carrying, babies that belong to her sister and the town's sheriff's brother, as a surrogate she never planned on being a mother to the babies. Cheyenne was estranged from his only brother and hoped to reconcile. Emily brings the sad news of their siblings' deaths. This is another couple the old matchmakers in town see as a new family, their beautiful love story unfolds with lots of love and "feels". This book is a great addition to the series.
