Mindy Neff is a new to me author. Jordan wants one more night of fun, to live a bit on the wild side before her wedding. Obligation to her father, her family, has put her in the position that she currently finds herself in. She is about to marry a sweet man that can help her family financially. Across a crowded room, Jordan sees Tanner, a boy from her her past that has turned into a hot man that was from the wrong side of the tracks. Tanner never expected to see Jordan at a bar. A girl from his past, all grown up. He's always had feelings for Jordan, but he knows that he can never have her, that he would never be good enough for her. Tanner over hears a conversation that could mean disaster for Jordan he must do what ever it takes to save her. Written as a 3rd person, mutli pov with a HEA ending. Good story line, great characters, engaging dialogue and easy to visualize detailed descriptions. Would I recommend this book? Yes Would I read more from this author? Yes Sassy Beta Reading and Review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Spoilers - Jordan and Tanner grew up in the same town, with his dad working for her parents at the vineyard. After a fire, his dad left and Tanner had to make it on his own. Years later, now Tanner is a security specialist and has returned to the area in time to prevent her from being kidnapped before her wedding, a wedding to a man solely to bring cash into her family business. Tanner protects her and the love reignites as they get to know one another again. She has plans to help her family without getting married. Tanner only wants her forever. The characters are fantastic and their backstories come out - right up to the end with confessions. The locales are vivid and endearing. The suspense throughout the book comes from many different angles, but they keep moving forward, not fully admitting their love for each other, but hoping. The ending is wonderful and will make you smile as family respect changes. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
