The hero is a security company owner, the heroine is the single mom of very outspoken twins who have just gotten themselves kicked out of school a few days before the Christmas holidays for getting into an argument over the existence of Santa Claus. She went to a sperm bank to acquire the twins (though apparently not intending to come up with two) and is determined to raise them strictly with the truth. However the kids would really like to believe in Santa Claus as someone who will fulfill all wishes. So they scrape up all their money and go hire the hero to locate the real Santa for them. And so commences a flurry of all the Christmas activities available in New York City. I never did quite get what the heroine had against the hero-- though eventually the author stated it flat out, I still didn't quite get it. Nor did I understand the hero's thinking through all of the activity. Sometimes he seemed to do things just to annoy the heroine and other times ... I have no clue. It was a cute story with a lot of funny moments, but I'm not sure the romance made a lot of sense. Still, it's worth reading, IMO. I liked it overall.

Seven year old twins approach a security company owner with the charge to find Santa Claus because their mother doesn't believe. What's a man to do? Find Santa, of course. So from a humble child's drawing of a happy family, cat, dog, and noticibly missing daddy included, Gabe takes the challenge and find himself more than Santa and his merry elves. He finds a woman who refused to marry or even use a man to get her sweet, rambunctious children and a woman who is afraid of loving and losing. Through a Christmas tour of New York City, this four people find the true meaning of Christmas and enough magic to bring Santa into their hearts forever.
