Review # 1 was written on 2010-05-15 00:00:00 Bret Ulb I thought it was a really good story but then I like the element of the unknown child and rekindled romance between lovers. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-09-13 00:00:00 Sareta Davis This book was recommended to me as a light comedic romance, which is was in most of the book. The fact is that the book has a touch of paranormal at the beginning and end of the book that adds a delightful flavor to the encounter. Jon Everett is a sometimes bounty hunter but really he wants one felon, a murderess named Gloria who is worth $100,000 in rewards, but unfortunately (fortunately for our story) Maddy (the Heiress) looks alot like Gloria and the chaos begins. This is not a "love at first sight" exactly, it is and it isn't (refer back to that touch of paranormal) but the story is done exceptionally and just when I thought i knew where the story was going the author would throw in an unexpected twist. The secondary characters were not developed much but the main couple took the stage for almost all of the book and really pulled the story off very well. The story has some serious moments since dealing with a killer is not quite a joke but the whole story was enjoyable. I have to give this a 4 in general and a 5 for romantic comedy and I have to say that this would make a great movie. Highly recommended as a "comfort" read on the beach or just a rainy weekend. |
