Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-30 00:00:00 Gary Quinn Charlotte was a real piece of work. Throughout this novel I wanted to smack her silly. However the rest of it was okay.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-12 00:00:00 David Calonne It's ok till halfway through. I'm not certain what I missed but I really don't get some parts and why the protagonists react in such a way. The h is done pretty well, she's smart, competent and confident. She's also aware of what her faults are and how to rectify them if necessary. Very likable and different from a lot of harlequin doormat h. Same goes for the H, in here we do get to hear his pov so it helped in some instances though I think in others, not kmowing why he reacted in such ways might help build some tension in the story. The storyline is a the part where I have a problem with. Things seem abrupt at times where we're suddenly being thrown into a different scenario or where the protagonists suddenly have a change of heart that is not explained properly. So we're left with the feeling that we're missing something here or that the protagonists are a bit nilly willy. Other than that though, it's quite an enjoyable read.
