I ordered a used copy of this off Amazon and then I checked my old stash of Silhouette/Harlequins and realised I had this one already, what luck! So I have read the first one in this series, with the lusty old ghost Jock who just wants people to find love. This time the successful, divorced father of two nine-year old twins Michael (having matched up the other two brothers) is his target. The hero's love interest happens to be the granddaughter of the woman his grandfather bought the house for. Both their families have rotten luck with romance and blame it on their grandparents but they discover through old diaries that their grandparents weren't who they thought they were. Both of them say no to romance through their words but their eyes and actions say differently. I enjoyed this one, it was so nice to read about a vulnerable hero who felt he knew nothing about women and romance since his ex blindsided him with a divorce. He made wonderful romantic gestures towards the heroine and I enjoyed seeing their road to HEA. Jock was also hilarious sabotaging the sale of the house everytime a buyer came around.

ghost #3 MEANT TO BE MARRIED In all my years as a matchmaking ghost, I've never seen two mortals so meant to be married as Michael Connor and Simone Hartman. But do they realize it? Michael thinks he's too sedate, though his body goes into overdrive whenever Simone is near. And Simone... Why the lass thinks romance is for fools...! But if that Connor boy imagines he'll sell my house before he carries Simone in as his bride, well, he's in for the surprise of his life... Those Connor brothers don't stand a chance of staying single -- once they cross the threshold and become Jock's Boys
