Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-12 00:00:00 Stephen Rashid I liked this one because of its delicious hero and heroine. They are both very original characters, and I really liked how utterly intrigued they were by each other, even when they were so different. I also liked how the romance progressed - they both alter their dreams a bit to fit each other in, and that's so lovely. (Although I did feel that Murphy did most of the effort on that front). Who am I kidding, I loved this book from the moment I realized the hero wore Hawaiian shirts AND played pool. Seriously, what's not to love there? |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-01-10 00:00:00 Kiu Wong There's nothing like reading an old favorite. This is a cute story about neighbors. Jan is told to ask her neighbor, Junior, to be in a bachelor auction for her garden club and once he agrees, she decides she has to help him be more "polished" even though she is planning on bidding on another man. Junior has a great sense of humor and watching their friendship grow is sweet. For anyone doing challenges - this takes place in a small town in Indiana, she works in an office and he is a construction worker. |
