This is a book with a couple of characters who've got to learn to trust again after having been burned in earlier relationships. We've all read the story line before. What I like about this one is that the characters are so funny. Mr. Sam Loring is a workaholic. Ms. Dallas Pendragon is a working mom teaching others to find balance in their lives. The plot is kind of dated, but 22 years ago when it was written it was more apropos. It does not matter. Some of the best scenes had to do with him learning domestic management. The value of fabric softener is illustrated in one hilarious scene. Well worth searching out from your public library or a secondhand source.
