Gini King was a shy and studious young woman when she met Jordan Jacks, a young man studying to become a lawyer. No one had ever affected him as she did and they were married six weeks later. After their marriage, Jordan is discovered for his amazing singing talent and this leads to their divorce. Now thirteen years later and circumstances will bring them together again. Jordan was unaware that they had a daughter, but now he plans to bring Gini and his daughter Melanie together as a family. Gini, a teacher, is still insecure and he is so wealthy and famous, will they fit in to his world? Jordan is unaware of how his agent Felicia is constantly trying to destroy their fragile beginning. Will Gini finally realize that Jordan, the man not the singer, is who she needs? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)

Gini divorced her husband before he became famous to not stand in his way. But finding out she was pregnant was not in her plans. Even though she has always loved him she thought she would be a burden to him. Then Jordan finds out they have a daughter and he has never stopped loving her and is determined to make them part of his life. But he has to convince Gini that he wants them in his life and they are more important to him than his career has ever been.
