Review # 1 was written on 2018-06-10 00:00:00 H Noordijk 3.5 stars I actually enjoyed this book; the storyline was interesting, the heroine is a wolf biologist who is going to introduce the wolfs back into the wild but has some opposition from the town people scared for their cattle. The hero is a native of that town and a biologist himself visiting family. He is attracted to the heroine and asks her out. The issue I had was the heroine judging the hero without knowing him; so her dad is philanderer and she goes by someone else's word and believes that the hero's engagement broke due to his infidelity (when the case was reverse). Of course she later does go out with him and is falling for him but till say 80% mark she still thinks he is gonna leave her behind. Otherwise I enjoyed this book but didn't like reading about seeing a wolf brutalised.
