Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-21 00:00:00 Katherine Hogoboom [ Seems a group of freedom fighters somehow related to the hero's deceased father wanted him to join their movement. They think his marriage to the European h is holding him back - so they wanted to break up the marriage. They hired the UK guy (who was a heroin addict) to make the hero think they were having an affair. It's a woman (in love with the hero's brother) in the hero's uncle's house who finally gets wind of it and tells the hero. Hero was going to send her away because he was afraid she was in danger - but the plot has been foiled and the uncle run off. (hide spoiler)] |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-07-04 00:00:00 Ruthann Richardson A reunion romance about a marriage between a French/ Arab hero and a British heroine. I enjoyed this story even if some of the conspiracy elements were a little far-fetched. I did love Karim the hero as he stalks his way back into the heroine's heart with lots of bumps and setbacks on the way. Vida was a fairly average heroine with a bit of feisty and didn't irritate me too much. |
