Review # 1 was written on 2020-10-19 00:00:00 Kenneth Martin You'd think this would be more interesting -- trapeze artist meets socially-conscious member of nobility. It's not bad, I just didn't feel like the chemistry was there. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-06-03 00:00:00 Mike D. Wiethorn I really liked this one. Heroine is the rich, spoiled daughter of a Brisbane executive. Father asks her to visit his boyhood home in the Outback, conduct some business for him and attend the Tullagindi Rodeo as his representative. She goes under protest. Hero is the one to pick her up from the airport and subjects her to a two day car journey to her destination. Sparks fly and she begins to re-think her life. At the homestead, she stumbles across an old school friend. Their friendship is a nice sub-thread to the main romance. The hero is alpha but shows glimpses of his soft side throughout, so the HEA is believable. I think I liked this so much because the heroine had a sense of humor and really did try to grow and change. Plus I have a soft spot for Outback settings. |
