Rating 3.5 stars This book had the typical HP drama, an OW, a heroine with a tendency to misunderstand but I still enjoyed it. In college the heroine almost fell for a womanizing guy out for a good time, so she chose the safe route, dated a lawyer for two years and is now engaged to him, yet she is heading out for a job, away for a year, it is to clear her head and be sure that, it what she wants. Sadly when she gets to the job she doesn't find her employer, instead she finds the hero who is a cousin of her employer and sick with malaria. She stays even when he tells her to leave and he gets her blood running, so she keeps reminding herself of her ex and he fiance who she doesn't miss. Hero has a vamp ex-gf on the scene and asks her to save him, it is kind of obvious that he is using it as an excuse to show her that her engagement is all wrong but she doesn't see it that way. She ends her engagement doesn't tell him, he goes away, she pines for him, OW tries to tell lies, he comes back, HEA. Despite the HP drama I liked the book.

"Dare To Trust" is the story of Anne and Colin. In this banter filled romance, our recently engaged h travels to Wisconsin for a new job, only to realize her employers have left, leaving a grumpy H there instead. He is sick, annoyed and delirious with malaria, and in the time he does not flirt or growl at her, he spends vomiting and in throes of fever. The h ends up being his caretaker, falling for the charming man, while he soon pretends she is his fiance when his ex enters the scene. Will the h break her engagement with OM and give in to the H? Well written romance with loads of back and forth as well as OM/OW drama between the h and H. It is very obvious that both of them are smitten, yet keep fighting their feelings. Enjoyed in parts. Safe 3/5
