Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-29 00:00:00 Ian Borean This is another story about a chicken and a parrot. The hen Martha adopts an unusual baby who happens to be a parrot, a very special parrot. Her friends disapprove but Martha loves her baby unconditionally. Walliwigs loves his mother too. Professor Beak takes Walliwigs to the Institute of Ornithology and they find out just how special Walliwigs really is. Martha was heartbroken that he left but the story has a happy ending, but of course I won't tell you what that is.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-12-15 00:00:00 Joaquin Silveira This book was so odd and "herky-jerky" that I don't really know how to review it. There's parrot and a nest on a smokestack. Then there's a chicken raising the parrot, who everyone seems to want to make into parrot pie. Weird. It's just weird. Illustrations are okay.
