Review # 1 was written on 2016-12-06 00:00:00 Andrew Dunn This story is not surprising or unexpected. It is predictable because of the world we live in now. As much as it was set in what seems like the 70s/80s it could be the story of today, which is beyond bleak. The story of racism and prejudice of lack of understanding and acceptance. This book is a good attempt of bringing to light the atrocities that used to happen and are still happening today. Misunderstanding from both sides and segregation.. Sad state of affairs.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-02-08 00:00:00 Jonathan Calfee i think even when i reread this thousand times and i bet, i wont ever get bored of it :) i so love the tinge of attraction between the protagonist(white woman) and Vijay (the indian guy on the cover). very subtle and beautiful :)
