Review # 2 was written on 2017-02-19 00:00:00 Rob Young It has been quite a few months since I finished this book, and I now find myself writing this review. I never usually read short stories, but I happened to pick this book up on a whim. What a delight it was to read! I enjoyed all of the stories, and of course I have my favourites, "The Pale Gold Of Alaska", "Sex In The Context Of Ireland", "At Sally Gap", and "Oleander". Frustratingly, whenever you get to the end of a chapter you always find yourself wanting more. It was a very enjoyable read, and I hope to read more of Éilís Ní Dhuibhne's work soon.
