My niece and nephew enjoyed Pugwash and the Sea Monster; the boy said, "I really liked that one because it was really funny, and it had a pretend sea monster and a real one in it, and Cut-throat Jake got freaked out!" This installment in the Pugwash series was a bit of silly fun, and it was good to see one of Pugwash's schemes going (mostly) right for a change.

Henry received this book for his 3rd birthday from Sacha and Eric. Henry loves it and we read it alot. It has a lot of complex story things happening and i'm not sure that henry understands the whole plot of the book, but he enjoys it and it has led to some interesting questions such as "what is an innkeeper?". I think we will continue to read it for several more years without outgrowing it!
