Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-27 00:00:00 Eric Locher This book was quite repetitive and a bit wordy (all of Duvoisin's books are wordy for reading aloud), but the illustrations are so charming, and we are so invested in Veronica as a character, that we enjoyed it.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-04-17 00:00:00 Cari Wolk This is an abridgement of Thucydides' Peloponnesian War. Unfortunately is reads rather flat. Perhaps it was aimed towards young readers but I doubt that it would get their attention today.
