Teenager Yamato continues his struggle to admit that he is in love with Suzuka. Will he somehow find a way to tell her the truth, even while she continues to make him feel overburdened with her shopping and other after-school errands? The second volume of Kouji Seo's manga "Suzuka" is an entertainingly funny romp with gorgeous character and background illustrations like the first volume. Volume 2 focuses on Yamato trying to tell Suzuka that he has feelings for her, while dealing with her stubborn nature as well as challenges brought forth by other characters such as from his devil's-advocate friend Yasunobu Hattori and even the two fiesty college students from the previous volume. Honoka, the girl who has a crush on Yamato, also makes some appearances here, although this time around the spa owner Ayano and her daughter Miho are less involved in this volume. Very funny antics happen especially when Yamato has to make decisions, ranging from how to reply casually to Suzuka's requests to his offering to take her to a theme park. Readers will find it hilarious whenever Yamato thinks about saying something correctly, but then he suddenly goes for the opposite and most unappealing responses to any person he is speaking to. For him, the struggle to know what to say to others is very real, and I am sure some readers were probably in his situation at one point or another. Little by little, however, Yamato learns from his mistakes and strives to improve himself as the volume chapters unfold. Some nice extras are at the end of the book, including a humorous mini comic about the author himself when he was in the process of presenting parts of the "Suzuka" manga to his superiors. A sneak-peak of the next volume is also shown in the last pages. A solid follow up to volume 1, "Suzuka" Volume 2 keeps interested readers hooked to find out how the relationship between Yamato and Suzuka holds up. Recommended for romantic comedy manga readers ages 18 and up, due to scenes of nudity and some adult situations.

In vol2, Suzuka and Yamato are in same class. Yamato likes her so he try to look better for her. He try it again again again...to hit. It is cool to try hard. This manga is good for men. Of course women too! This one for adolescent. Read it!
