Review # 1 was written on 2018-09-14 00:00:00 Regan Inkster House sitting with a bunch of happy but hormonal imbalanced heroines leads to a Nantucket Hideaway. The perfect island to go shopping and just chill out. Marilyn's wedding is fast approaching as the gals surrender to their summer adventures. Shirley entertains a steamy romp with local fisherman; Faye uncovers her dream home; Polly is the wrapped up into the island's bounty; and Alice is swooning with love on the horizon or it could be just sea sickness. Well, either way this one aims to please... Give a little to get a little ... Ahhh@! |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-10-19 00:00:00 Michael Kartsonakis Book 4 from the Hot Flash Club Series by Nancy Thayer, published in the early 2000βs. The women open the spa, spend various weeks one summer on Nantucket in a home generously offered by a board member. They solve family issues, their own and others, meet new people, young and older, and continue to discover themselves. They even solve a hundred year old mystery for their benefactor and her neighbor. Just a fun and lovely, spirit-lifting read, perfect for our turbulent times! Naturally, I have read the books out of order, again. (note, Jaidee) It just proves they do stand alone. Done with 1 and 4. On to: 2 and 3. ππ€ Note to Nancy Thayer: A Book 5 would be lovely! Just pretend itβs the following year in the book, and Faye, Polly, and Shirley have all moved to Nantucket. Alice is stubborn and stays in Boston; so does Marilyn & Ian. π π Please?! |
