Review # 1 was written on 2016-06-19 00:00:00 Michael Brasch I'm not sure why goodreads is not finding the exact book, but it's Enduring Love BY Ian McEwan. I have loved McEwan's work, and this did not disappoint with incredibly descriptive language, amazing turn of phrase, and a story that grabs you from word one. The opening scene is so gripping, but I did have a hard time getting pulled in after that - mostly because I was reading it in much too short bits. It did grab me when I got to read longer stretches, and it was excellent. So many angles to it - science v. religion; trust in relationships; truth and how it can be interpreted so many ways; sanity v. delusion. Recommend!

Review # 2 was written on 2015-11-21 00:00:00 Ellis Hall fasinating. Clever. Got me hooked on Ian Mcewan.
