Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-27 00:00:00 James King I'm trying to connect to my Estonian heritage, so I thought some folk tales would be a good start. This was a nice little volume, readable by kids and adults. I appreciated the values in a lot of the stories too, and that many of the central characters were your average working people.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-05-30 00:00:00 Bernd Nitsche Love this tale. My one disappointment is Carl naming the character the devil which is not part of Estonian mythology. I saw other translations that more accurately name him as a trickster.
