Review # 1 was written on 2011-06-09 00:00:00 Robert Michaels This book is really about the mid-90s and early 2000s research trends. I'm quite disappointed actually. I was expecting a lot more than just the surface level analysis that is offered in Discourse and Identity. Covers a range of topics but that just serves as an easy reference. I hope there are better books on trending research approaches out there; that don't make discourse studies seem like a thing of the last century. Sorry authors. |
