A family with one very young little boy has another baby, and the little boy feels neglected for a bit because of all the attention from family and extended family given to the new baby. He keeps saying "Me Baby!" Not my favorite book but an accurate portrayal of how a young child might feel when he doesn't yet understand what's going on or why his parents aren't/can't pay attention to him like usual. It was hard for me to tell if he was saying "Me Baby!" because he knew he was still a baby in a way and just wanted someone to pick him up and spend time with him, or because he wanted to hold the baby (which is how some of the adults interpreted it.) But then again...when learning to talk, it is hard to tell what exactly they want. Maybe he meant both. Cute pictures and sweet ending. (I have a copy illustrated by Marylin Hafner.)

Nice and short, and the kids enjoyed it. Not much to this one, but that's ok when Daddy's attention span is shorter than the kids' and he's ready to send them off to bed.
