Review # 1 was written on 2014-01-24 00:00:00 Eric Bojara At 25 I'm definitely not to old to enjoy a story about a boy and his dog. Neil is basically living my dream life as his parents own kennels and rescue dogs. I used to want a dog more than anything when I was little. I'm not overly keen on them now though, the whole walks and poop scooping is not my thing. Plus everyone knows cats are a million times better. And I have a cat and he's amazing. Saying that, I would still jump at a chance to work with animals. Anyways a new dog moves next door and Sam takes a liking to her, a little to much of a liking to her and she ends up pregnant. Sam then falls ill and it turns out he has a heart problem and Neil is really worried and upset. Which made me really worried and upset - more so because my cat has been ill recently. However with the right care Sam will live a lot longer and it has a nice ending. There is also a rather good side story about a ghost dog. A book for animal lovers, young or old. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-03-05 00:00:00 Rickey Davis This was a decent children's book about dogs. I read it because there was an Irish setter in it; I have two myself. It is sad, but realistic. Some children reading it might be upset, but there were positives to the story, too. |
