Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-08 00:00:00 Thomas Sallah This book was very helpful as a supplement to reading Doctrine and Covenants and staying up with what is taught in the Gospel and Doctrine Class. My only complaints are: The lessons stated in the table of contents should state what the main section of the scriptures the lesson came from. Once you flip to each individual lesson, the scriptures are posted under "Preparation." I like that they put the church history facts and maps at the end of the book that help with the setting of the lessons. Each lesson has: Purpose, Preparation, suggestions: Attention activity, Discussion and Application, Questions to ask, and a Conclusion.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-09 00:00:00 Yann Roye If you do all of the projects and reading in here you are off to a good start for learning church history. I did this book as a Young woman's Personal Progress Value project and it definitely took over 10 hours to do everything. And I didn't quite do all of it.
