Review # 1 was written on 2015-09-28 00:00:00 Kari Landry What this is: a quick, bird's eye view of the basic ideas, concepts, and structure of a Six Sigma project. What this isn't: a learning tool for someone looking to certify themselves in Six Sigma. For me, this was exactly what I wanted. A short refresher and guide on Six Sigma terminology and practices. I suspect it would also be useful for somebody working on the periphery of a Six Sigma project who wants or needs to know the general shape of what's going on. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-12-30 00:00:00 Sue Wellings The book gave a terse introduction to the subject of Six Sigma. I found it a little hard to follow at times as it seemed to assume the reader already had some background knowledge of the subject, but for me, being a greeny, it made harder work of trying to understand the concepts of this complex discipline. Nevertheless, it's maybe given me a taster enough to find another book to build on the limited knowledge gained. |
