Review # 2 was written on 2013-06-02 00:00:00 GABRIEL BRANLY The selections were almost uniformly great, the reading suggestions were really useful, and the index makes it easy to find particular authors or pieces. There were lots of typographical errors in the text, and glosses for Spanish terms (promised everywhere) were only present about 4/5 of the time. It's an odd accomplishment: a textbook that's wonderful for the general reader and a poor choice for students. |
