Tennis Ace By Matt Christopher This book is about a boy named Steve, a girl named Ginny and their father. Their father always believed in Steve to become the tennis ace for their family. Steve was okay at tennis but ginny was the best! Their father always sidelined Ginny and pushed Steve into tennis. Ginny was the real tennis ace for their family. the book says that "Steve must tell his father the truth... before it's too late". This explains that Steve dooes not want to be a tennis player but Ginny does. I liked this book because of it was based on sport but also because it teaches parents and everyone that you should not force your children or anyone into something they don't want to do and also that parents should not neglect their one child and favour the other.

This book,Tennis Ace by Matt Christopher, is realistic fiction about a boy who didn't like how his dad always pushed him. His sister wanted her dad to push her and not ignore her. I did like the book, but at times it was boring. I liked how it would talk about the tennis point as it was going on. I also likes how the book ended, but I won't spoil it. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 because it had good parts and some okay parts.
