Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-17 00:00:00 Donna M Roach I will start with saying that I learned that the author, Zoey Dean, seems pretentious and stuck up just like Cammie. I feel as if these books get worse and worse as the series continues. I never got into Beautiful Stranger because a) it was boring and b) there wasn't any good character development (you would have thought that the characters would have done plenty of developing by the 9th book but NO. So we start off with Anna and Ben on the rocks (like always) and Cammie wanting Ben and all his hotness (like always) and Sam still hating her body and making sure the reader knows it (like always). I do think that Sam being some what comfortable with her bodacious hips at the beginning of the book was a great change but she kind of goes back to old Sam as the story progresses. Anna meets an old flame and these begin to spark up again in New York while she and Sam are there for a week. Cammie and Ben embark on a new business while Cammie shamelessly tries to spark something new between her and Ben. The book was so-so. I just wish the characters would change a little bit and grow up! People do change over a few months Zoey.... just letting you know.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-04 00:00:00 Hari Seldon I was definitely more annoyed with Anna and Sam in this one than usual. Anna needs to get her shit together and realize she can do anything she wants. Sam needs to stop being so illogically jealous and jump to conclusions. I enjoyed Logan, who I totally forgot existed, and the Cammie/Ben thing is intriguing. I love the club aspect. Overall, a bit frustrating from a character development perspective, but enjoyable overall story. Ready for the last book! Ahhh.
